A number of charges have been filed against a former employee of a daycare center in Sheridan. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
A little over a month ago, the Board of Directors for the Sheridan Quality Child Care Initiative, the private non-profit corporation that operates the Hand in Hand Early Childhood Educational Center in Sheridan, reported a criminal claim to the Sheridan Police Department regarding a former employee. The Board had become aware of certain financial irregularities and had reported a loss of approximately $15,000.00.
The Sheridan Police Department recently completed their investigation into the matter and a suspect is being sought. Sheridan County Attorney Matt Redle.
Redle indicated that not all of the alleged charges against Paumer are related to Hand in Hand.
Paumer was arrested late Friday March, 11th. She will appear in Sheridan County Circuit Court Monday at 2 pm.
