Pony buck bets and a chance to win a genuine MO'Neigh were among the highlights of CHAPS' Day at the Derby Saturday night.

About 100 people attended the event at Warehouse 201's The Loft on Sheridan's Broadway Street. The event, now 10 years old, is a fundraiser for Sheridan's equine-assisted therapy program.

Warehouse 201 co-owner Jessica Fleenor talked about hosting the event.

Those who attended the event – many of the women sporting the traditional wide-brimmed hats seen at the Kentucky Derby – bet on pre-recorded horse races using “pony bucks.” They also could bet on this year's Derby. In addition to the chance to win money betting on the races, those attending the event bid on prizes in the silent auction – including the MO'Neighs, paintings created by horses owned by CHAPS.

The results of the event, including how much was raised, is not yet available.
