Sheridan Workforce Center has contracted with Sheridan College to offer free workshops twice a month. Chanda Richards, who is the Sheridan Center Supervisor for Employment Services, says people can still get assistance with these skills through the workforce, or attend the workshops
She says offering more assistance has been important not just because of higher unemployment rates, but also the changing nature of many industries
Classes run twice a month through 2010.
