The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce had their annual Chamber Awards Luncheon Wednesday, to recognize chamber members for various accomplishments.

Chamber Director Angela Jarvis and Assistant Director Rachel McCaughey took turns introducing the awards, what they were for and why the winners were chosen.

The “Spirit of Buffalo” Award went to Gail Williams.
“Volunteer of the Year” went to Francine Russell.
The “Rising Star” award went to Re-Ride/Kami Kennedy.
The Dash Inn received the “Chamber Cornerstone” Award.
The “Legacy” Award, sponsored by the Bank of Buffalo, went to the Prescription Shop. The sponsor purchases the plaque and donates $300 to the winner.
Finally, the “Community Enhancement” Award went to First Northern Bank.

Chamber Director Jarvis explains why they feel it is important to recognize the local businesses and people for what they do for the community and the chamber specifically.

The award winners are chosen by the other members of the Chamber of Commerce.
