Cemetery Road Project on Hold For Winter

Cemetery Road Project on Hold For Winter

Project Manager Brent Bennett, with Nelson Engineering, approached the Buffalo City Council at their meeting December 20th to get permission for a workstoppage for the winter on the Cemetery Road Pathway Project, due to the cold weather conditions.

The project is for a pathway roughly 8 to 10 feet wide from South Burritt Avenue to Old Highway 87. It will provide a safe access between the three existing schools and the yet-to-be completed new Cloud Peak Elementary School.

Bennett said the project will officially be postponed as of December 9th and will start up again once the weather warms enough to work the ground.

The project is being funded through a Federal Highway Administration grant through the Wyoming Department of Transportation's TEAL (Transportation Enhancement Activities-Local) Grant program.
