An autopsy conducted Tuesday morning in Billings, Montana on the Sheridan man found lying in the road this weekend has revealed the cause of death. Sheridan County Deputy Coroner Kevin Sessions confirmed that 26-year-old Kelly Eugene Claar died from hypothermia. Sessions said that the results of a toxicology report that was conducted will not be known for 4 to 6 weeks.
Sheridan County Sheriff's Deputies were called to 5901 Coffeen at approximately 6:40 am this past Saturday, where they found Claar lying unresponsive in the roadway of the Woodland Park Village mobile home park. A medical team on site were unable to revive the man prior to transporting him to Sheridan Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead two hours later.
