CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Casper City Council has approved giving a piece of property on the north side of the city to Habitat for Humanity. The council approved the land transfer last week. Bruce Maurer, executive director for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, says construction on a home at the site will begin in February or March. Habitat for Humanity uses a mixture of volunteer labor and contractors to construct homes for low-income families.
