Saturday, Habitat for Humanity held a special Christmas fundraiser with a very special guest. Santa was in the house at Sheridan Stationary reading “The Carpenter's Tale,” to all the little people there.
Matt Davis, Director for Habitat, alias Santa, tells us what the story is about.
Close to thirty children were there to hear Santa read and Davis says it's a tradition that forms a circle.
Habitat had enough two by fours on hand to build a good-sized wall which folks could buy and donate towards the building of the current Habitat home, being built for the Rosales family. These are boards with a special message.
Jill Langer was there with her family.
In addition to the story telling, there were treats on hand and kids could take home a special Christmas ornament.
