Campbell County Memorial Hospital is seeking a new CEO. The Gillette News Record reports Bob Morasko will become a consultant to the hospital Dec. 31 and will help with the transition to a new CEO.
Hospital officials say they and Morasko mutually agreed to an amended employment contract in October. Starting next year, Morasko will earn $16,667 per month to be a consultant for 12 months.
In September, the hospital came under scrutiny when it was slow to confirm it had treated patients for flesh-eating bacteria. The hospital says the patients were infected before arriving at the hospital.
Around the same time, the hospital released surveys showing poor customer-satisfaction ratings.
Morasko is credited with recruiting numerous specialists during his nearly six-year tenure.
