The sixth cash mob event held by the Historic District Business Committee - a joint committee of the Downtown Sheridan Association and the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce - will take place Thursday at Sheridan Stationary.
Executive Director of the Downtown Sheridan Association, Stacie Coe, has the details.
She explains there are three rules when cash mobbing - spend at least $20, meet three people you haven't met before, and of course, have fun. Coe says the point of a cash mob is to go into small, local businesses and spend enough money as a group to provide a grassroots stimulus package to that business.
Coe says past cash mobs have had great turnout and she says she hopes that will continue.
Again, the sixth cash mob will take place Thursday at 5:15 p.m. at Sheridan Stationary, located at 206 North Main Street.
