Buffalo's Tabb Wins Stars Of Tomorrow

Buffalo Kiwanis hosted the 2013 Division I and X Stars Of Tomorrow Talent Contest at Buffalo High School this past weekend.

After the performances, the top spot, earning a trip to Colorado to represent Northern Wyoming, went to Jeremiah Tabb of Buffalo for his vocal and guitar performance “When My Train Pulls In.”
Second place also went to a Buffalo entrant, the vocal group of Rebecca Flanders, Nolan Leibee, Kadelyn Burd, Ashley Seymour and Spencer Walter for their selection “Operator.”

Nearly a dozen performers from Northern Wyoming: Sheridan, Powell, Thermopolis, Riverton, Gillette and Buffalo performed vocally, instrumentally, through dance and musical theater.

Tabb, a freshman at BHS, plays guitar in Jazz Band, trumpet in Marching Band and has performed in five school dramas. He participates in cross country as a long-distance runner, entertains at local functions, and is a Buffalo Music Club Scholarship winner, according to information provided by the Kiwanis.

Tabb will now move on to the Kiwanis Rocky Mountain District “Stars of Tomorrow” show will be held in Loveland, Colorado on Sunday, April 28. He will compete with others entrants from Wyoming, Colorado and western Nebraska.
