The annual Monster March happened Monday afternoon in Buffalo, during the last few daylight hours of Halloween, and it was another success, according to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis.
Jarvis said an estimated 800+ kids paraded through downtown from the county courthouse south to Angus Street and then back up Main Street to the chamber, collecting candy, prizes and other goodies from participating businesses. That is a good, average year number-wise for the march, she said.
After the march, Jarvis said she was pleased with the turnout.
And the kids, for which this is all put on, even said they had a good time. Moriah Roberts of Buffalo, said she had lots of fun, at least until the wind came up, and said she got lots of candy.
Jarvis said there will, of course, be another Monster march next year.
