The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum in Buffalo will host an Open House this Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
This event takes the place of the annual Grand Openings held in the past when the museum closed for the winter. With the museum open year-round, it has been changed to an Open House, a “Thank You” to the community for their support of the museum, according to Museum Director John Gavin.

This is one of three different “Open House” events the museum will offer during the year, the other two are the annual Living History Day coming later in June and the other during the Christmas Holiday.
Saturday's Open House will offer free admission to all, refreshments, and fun throughout the day to celebrate the kickoff to the summer season.
