Johnson County School District Budiness Manager Matt Ramey updated the school board on the status of the construction of the district's new Cloud Peak School at their meeting in Kaycee Monday.
Ramey said the individual parts of the school have now become “essentially one building.”
He explains further.
Ramey said the road project at Conrad Street is progressing well and that the contractor wants to have hard surface there before the snow flies as well, but how the the major construction on the retaining wall comes together will determine how and when road surfacing will happen.
Ramey was asked by the board when the school would be completed.
The school board will tour the facility next month.
