One of the patchwork quilts on display now at the public library in Sheridan looks like a three-dimensional maze when looking down on the piece from the mezzanine. The quilt show will be hanging through the end of the month. The library is located on Alger in downtown Sheridan.
Officials say a woman from Lander who's believed to be Wyoming's first confirmed human rabies case died over the weekend. The case was confirmed last week by the state health department following testing conducted by the federal Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention.
Trail maintenance on the South Piney Trail in the Tongue Ranger District of the Bighorn National Forest will occur next Monday through Wednesday. According to a forest service news release, the trail will not be closed, however, users will be directed to use a detour around the work area.
