Buffalo Will Recycle Christmas Trees Again This Year

Residents of Buffalo will have an option again this year when disposing their old Christmas trees. Instead of throwing them out with the regular trash, the trees can be put to good use and recycled into mulch or some other useful material instead of taking valuable space in the landfill.
The city will again be offering a free dump area for used trees to be recycled.
City Works Director Les Hook explains more.
The area where residents can drop their trees is on the north side of Prosinski Park on West Fetterman Street.
Trees can be dumped beginning the day after Christmas and will continue through early January.
Tinsel and other man-made materials should be removed before the trees are recycled.
