The Buffalo community turned out to help those in need again this Holiday season, as they do every year, according to Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Director Angela Jarvis.
Jarvis said volunteers throughout the community help with the programs, including The Marine Corps Toys for Tots program, put on with the help of the Buffalo High School FFA kids; the Care and Share Program, handled by the Chamber and the Buffalo Senior Center; and local law enforcement as well as many others.
Distribution Day for the programs was Friday and Saturday for the Care and Share, Saturday for Toys for Tots with the normal distribution center at Buffalo Senior Center again this year.
Jarvis said although there were fewer families and individuals that needed help this year, those that did were the beneficiaries of the giving spirit of the community.
The Senior Stocking Program will have their distribution day this Friday at the Buffalo Senior Center beginning at noon.
