The Wyoming Red Hat Society will have their three-day 2011 State Convention in Buffalo this weekend.
For those not familiar with the Red Hat Society, Buffalo Gals Chapter member Nancy Lick of Buffalo explains what the group is all about and what they do.
The convention will be headquartered at the Johnson County Fairgrounds where most of the activities will happen. Traditional raffles, bingo, square dancing and music, performances by Basque dancers and numerous other fun things are planned at the fairgrounds. The ladies will also tour area attractions, shop, and will also have a parade Saturday morning downtown, after breakfast in Crazy Woman Square.
Jeanette Larsen, Queen Mother of the Buffalo Gals Chapter, would like to extend an invitation for all fun-loving women of any age to join them at the convention.
The cost for the convention is $150, but that includes all meals and activities. For more information on the convention, contact Alice Ott at 684-2808.
