Mariah Robinson of Buffalo was crowned as “Pre-teen Miss Wyoming” in a competition in Casper earlier this month, beating seven other girls in her division.
Robinson, 12, is a familiar face in the Little Miss Wyoming State Scholarship Pageants, as she has been competing in them for a number of years.
She also won the title of “Little Miss Wyoming” back in 2007.
Mariah said she was excited to be this year's winner in her division, and said she now has a full year ahead of her, with a number of obligations she must meet before she hands her crown over to next year's winner.
She tells us what some of her obligations are.
Cheyenne Frontier Days Parade, the State Fair Parade and a few others are already scheduled, and her mom, Cynda Robinson, said there will more than likely be some local parades she will be attending in Buffalo, Sheridan and other areas close to home.
Cynda explains why she chose to involve Mariah in the pageants in the first place.
