Buffalo's Annual Crazy Days Celebration happened this past weekend, and was a success, according to the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, who organized and put on the two-day event.
The festivities began Friday with specials at local merchants and wrapped with a street dance that night featuring Gumby Brown. Staurday, vendors continued offering great deals and the downtown area was hopping with bed races, water barrel races, art, music, crafts, and Fun-on-the-Go for the kids.
Chamber Director Angela Jarvis said fun was had by all.
Five teams competed in the bed races Saturday morning, and Bob's Super Clean Orange Crush team took first place, followed by the Wild Bunch team in second. Six teams signed up for the water barrel races, and the “Never Say Die” team from Buffalo took first place, with the Wild Bunch team again finishing in second place.
