The Buffalo City Council, at their regular meeting this evening, is expected to approve on third and final reading Ordinance No. 1347, which will create the new Vision Buffalo Commission.

The old Buffalo Development Association has been split into the VBC and the Main Street Commission, Dyess said, and when asked how important the VBC is to Buffalo's future, he explained.
Also at their meeting, the Council will appoint members to the Vision Buffalo Commission and accept some resignations from the Main Street Commission.
The Council will renew the contract for health insurance for City employees.
The mayor is expected to proclaim this week as National Tourism Week in Buffalo.
And the department heads will give their reports to the Council.
The meeting will begin at 5 o'clock this evening in Council Chambers at Buffalo City Hall.
