At their meeting Tuesday the Buffalo City Council approved a request from City Planner Zach Montgomery to declare the Sports Fields Complex as “substantially complete,” and begin the one year warranty period for the project.
Mayor Randy Dyess asked if the contractor had completed their punch-list items and City Works Director Les Hook said they had with the exception of providing three plastic irrigation boxes that will house shut-off valves for irrigation, which he said were on order and he expects to receive them soon.
Also discussed was the new O'Reilly Auto Parts Store that has been on the back burner for a number of months.
Councilman Russ Humphrey asked if Montgomery had an update for the council.
O'Reilly Auto Parts is expected to begin construction of their new Buffalo store, which will be located on Hart Street just west of McDonald's in August, according to Montgomery.
