Buffalo Council OKs Subdivision, Hears Engineer's Report

At their last meeting earlier this month the Buffalo City Council approved Resolution #1344, creating the Petra Minor Subdivision on Airport Road.

The original lot was split into three to allow the sale and seperate ownership of each lot.

City/County Engineer Wayne Hill reported that he has been working on a drainage plan for the greenleaf Subdivision and adjacent lands with the intent of eventually finding a solution for standing water in the subdivision and nearby lands.

Hill reported that WYDOT has tentaively agreed to install a flashing beacon at the school crossing at the intersection of South Main and Gatchell Streets, to be installed hopefully by the end of the year. The paperwork is at WYDOT headquarters in Cheyenne awaiting final approval.

He also reported on another possible addition at the intersection of Main and Fort Streets.

Finally, Hill said the plans for the realignment of the intersection of Lobban and Benteen are about 85% complete.
