At their meeting Tuesday, the Buffalo City Council approved Resolution No. 1363, which will have the city sponsor a WWDC Level 1 Reconnaissance Study Application for the BRASS, or Buffalo Rural Area Supply System project.
Mayor Randy Dyess introduced the Resolution, saying the council had already discussed the idea and tentatively approved it, but the application needed a Resolution attached to it for the study to be considered.
City Works Director Les Hook said the city, as an added benefit, will get a water model of the entire city done when they approve the Level 1 Study.
Hook was asked to explain more about the water model that the city will get in return for the study.
The council then voted to accept Resolution No. 1363 to have the water study completed along with the city's water model.
