The Johnson County Commission and the Buffalo City Council will have their first meetings of February Tuesday, and both will work through full agendas.
The county commissioners will review the county audit report, award the bid for the Canal Road Bridge, and amend the agreement between Sheridan and Johnson Counties on the Lake DeSmet Agreement.
Remodeling of the Historic Courthouse will be discussed as well as a new lease of a T-Hangar at the county airport.
There is an executive session scheduled later in the day to discuss a personnel matter.
The meeting will get underway at 9am this morning upstairs at the Historic Courthouse.
The Buffalo City Council will have their first meeting of February this afternoon beginning at 5pm in City Hall.
On the Agenda for them is the second reading od the Ordinance that will raise sewer rates within the city, and a request from the Pool Board to the Buffalo Charitable Foundation will be made.
Mike Quast with the Johnson County Family YMCA will discuss building issues with the council, and the council will discuss Resolutions to support Northwest jobs and exports of coal to Asia and to amend the annual budget for FY 2013.
Department Head reports will follow new business during the meeting.
