Buffalo Council To File Grant Application For Pipeline

Buffalo Council To File Grant Application For Pipeline

At their meeting Tuesday afternoon, Buffalo's City Council will discuss and likely approve Resolution No. 1349 which will allow the city to pursue further funding for the NW Water Pipeline Project from the Wyoming Water Development Commission, or WWDC.

The city is partnering with Johnson County to approach the WWDC jointly for funding on the second phase of the project.

Mayor Randy Dyess explaines more.

The pipeline will provide water to the NW area of the city near the airport and then east to lands along Interstate 90 to the Greenleaf Subdivision, providing a much-needed redundant pipeline, a water storage tank, and future service in that area of the city when necessary.

Also on the agenda for the city council is a presentation from the Cowboy Carousel Committee, the Buffalo RC Club and a request by the Light Up Buffalo Committee.

The meeting is at 5pm at City Hall.
