Issues with the Buffalo Ridge Subdivison were discussed at last week's City Council meeting, ending in the council deciding to attempt to get the developer to address the council about the issues and how to resolve them at a future meeting.

The subdivison has been sitting in its current state for close to three years, with a number of problems including drainage issues and deteriorating roadways. The city has not approved the subdivision to enter the warranty period, and therefore the developer is still responsible for any problems that may arise from his development, but the city has yet to discuss the issues with the developer, Justin Beckner.

Mayor Randy Dyess advised City Planner Zach Montgomery to try to contact Beckner and advise him to discuss the issues with the city council.
