Buffalo's City Council awarded the bid for a feasibility study on the old Clear Creek School building to Nelson Engineering of Buffalo.
The study will help determine a number of uses for the building, the various costs involved with each use and what must be overcome to make each use work.
The Johnson County School Board hosted public information meetings last year to find public opinion on proposed uses and gather input from those attending. From those meetings, a number of different proposals will be moved into the feasibility study.
The study's findings will then be forwarded to the school district for them to use in making a decision on how best to use the building.
