Buffalo Council Approves Signage For Crazy Woman Square

Signage at Buffalo's Crazy Woman Square is closer to a reality now that the city council has approved the design concepts presented to them by the Vision Buffalo Commission (VBC).

Travis Lawrence, with the VBC, brought the design concepts to the council's last meeting to get their input on which ones should be installed at the square.

The VBC suggested two “2-Hour Parking” signs to be installed at the rear of the building near the restrooms with arrows indicating all of the spaces at the building.
Also suggested were “No Dogs Allowed” signs in the square in response to the many complaints from people finding dog waste in the park.
Finally, to give some direction to where people can take their dogs, it was suggested there be signs installed pointing out where the dog walks are close to downtown.

The council unanimously approved the signs except for Councilman Dave Long, concerned about downtown residents and where they can park, who voted nay for the 2-hour parking signs at the square.
