The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, approved the appointments of Dave Stewart and Linda Becker to the Lodging Tax Board; Stewart to a 3-year term and Becker to finish an unexpired term.
Also approved by the council was Bill Cooley to a 4-year term on the Buffalo Trails Board.
Also approved was Resolution No. 1365, adopting the County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
City Building Inspector Toby Rhoades reported that he issued one new home building permit on October 1st.
He is working with homeowners on Balsam Street to get them compliant with city code.
Shiloh Subdivision has hired a contractor to perform mowing duties on unsold lots in the subdivision.
O'Reilly Auto Parts is on schedule and Rhoades said he was scheduled to perform a walk-through with the State Fire Marshal.
And City Attorney Ben Kirven requested the council approve him attending the “Public Contracts and Procurement Regulations in Wyoming” educational program December 3rd in Cheyenne.

Kirven said he has money remaining in his budget to cover the $329 cost of the program, and the council approved him attending.
