The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, approved and accepted the 2012-2016 Capital Improvements Plan, after discussing projects and rankings from each city department.
The plan included projects that either have been or will be completed in 2012, and those that each department would like to see completed and their order of preference in the next four years.
Councilman Russ Humphrey questioned prioritizing recreation, parks, and community buildings when streets needed paved, sewers need upgrades and other infrastructure projects need to be addressed first. Councilman Bill Hawley recommended a work session with the council and department heads to prioritize the various projects.
Mayor Randy Dyess addressed the question.
The council unanimously adopted Resolution No. 1340, accepting the 2012-2016 Capital Improvements Plan.
