Buffalo Council to Adopt Budget on Final Reading

The budget for fiscal year 2011-2012 for the City of Buffalo is expected to be approved on third and final reading at their regular council meeting Tuesday afternoon.

The appropriation bill has been modified some since first drafted, but is ready for final approval, according to Buffalo Mayor Randy Dyess.

Also on the agenda for the meeting, an amendment will be discussed for the current year's budget.

The recycle Board will discuss building permits and tap fees regarding the new recycling center which is under construction.

There will be a bid award for engineering services on the Cemetery Road Pathway.

And the council will recess into executive session to discuss pending litigation.

The meeting will begin at 5 pm in Council Chambers at Buffalo City Hall.
