The Buffalo City Council will introduce a Resolution to amend this year's budget to pay for a new fire truck.

Mayor Randy Dyess explains what has to be done and why.

Again, the funding has already been allocated for the truck, but the budget must be amended to show the roughly $675,000 line item for accounting and audit purposes.

The council will also introduce an Ordinance to subdivide the Buffalo Theater Building into three separate, individual entities under one roof.

Mike Quast, with the Johnson County YMCA, will give the Council a facilities assessment update. The City owns the building that houses the YMCA, and the City will need to know the condition of the building to budget for upkeep and repairs.

Marie Verger of the Buffalo Development Association will give the Council the presentation given to the Wyoming State Senate and House Joint Resolution Committee.

And the Council will discuss the possibility of approving a lot split in the Dube Minor Subdivision, which is in the county, but within the one-mile extraterritorial zone, and therefore requires the approval of both the City and the County.

The Council meeting begins at 5 pm at City Hall.
