Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery gave his final report for 2010 to the City Council last week, updating them on ongoing projects he is working on and others he is involved in. Aaron Palmer has the report.
With the US Census complete and information scheduled to be released soon, Montgomery said he is going over annexations and boundary information concerning the City to present to the Census Bureau hopefully this week.
Montgomery will request an amendment to the Boundary Map from both the US Census Bureau and the State of Wyoming if any discrepancies are found.
In other planning department news, Montgomery said construction is progressing on the Harmony Apartments in the Shiloh Subdivision and issues with adjacent landowners are being worked out.
The Joint Powers Board lift station is currently 70% complete, and the Council will hear a presentation from the newly-elected board members at the regular Council meeting January 18.
Montgomery and City Works Director Les Hook are working on gathering information for a grant application for curb and gutter projects. The deadline for the application is January 15th, 2011.
