At the Buffalo City Council meeting Tuesday, City Works Director Les Hook gave his report to the council, saying city crews will be concentrating on water line projects and chip and seal street projects in the next few weeks.
Hook said the NW Water Line Project is set to move on to the next phase of the project and is expected to go to bid within the next few weeks.
Crews will be replacing a section of water supply line on South DeSmet Avenue beginning next week. He explains where the work will be conducted and why it is necessary to replace it.
Street crews will be conducting chip and seal work on Butte Street, and Railroad and Bozeman Avenues this week.
The new concrete intersection at North Lobban and East Snider is still under construction, Hook said. The contractor made their final pour of the drive-able surface Thursday, August 29th, and that must cure for 10 days before crews will put the intersection back together and allow traffic to use it again.
