Buffalo's City Council is scheduled to meet Tuesday afternoon and work through a very light Agenda.
The council is scheduled to discuss sewer rates and a possible increase but will take no action on the matter itself.
The various department heads will present their reports to the council and those items are the only ones on the agenda.
This will be the final meeting of 2012, with the current lineup sitting on the council. At their next meeting in January, councilman-elect Dave Long will be sworn and take his seat won in the 2012 election this fall. Bill Hawley retained his seat during this year's election.
The city council meeting will begin at 5pm in City Hall.
The Johnson County Commission would normally have met Tuesday morning, but voted to cancel their final meeting in 2012 during their last meeting December 4th.
They will hold a swearing-in ceremony for commissioner-elect Jim Hicks on January 3rd. Hicks won the seat held by Albert “Smokey” Wildeman.
