Buffalo City Council Gets Update On Senior Center HVAC

AJ Mock, Director of the Buffalo Senior Center, gave a report to the Buffalo City Council at their last meeting, updating them on the status of the heating and cooling system at the center.

Mock said they have had a mechanical engineer look at the system and are expecting to have a report back in time for the engineer to give his findings to the council at their next meeting October 1st.

Funding sources are still being investigated to either replace or repair the system, according to Mock, who told the council the senior center received $10,000 from the Wyoming Community Foundation, and that he has filed applications for help with funding to the Scott Foundation and the Buffalo Community Foundation.

The council was pleased with his efforts.

Mock expects to hear back from the Scott Foundation and the Buffalo Community Foundation by mid-October.
