The 10th annual Buffalo Chamber of Commerce Small Business Expo will be happening next weekend, April 5th and 6th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds' Community Building.
Over 50 vendors are expected this year to introduce their new business to the area, showcase a new service or product to their existing line or to help existing or potential small business owners expand or start their business.
Angela Jarvis, Director of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, said they have businesses that return year after year but that 40% of the businesses are new or it is their first time at the expo.
She explains how the expo has changed over its ten-year run.
The expo will kick off next Friday afternoon at 3pm and there will be a Business After Hours from 5 to 8pm to close the first day.
The second day, Saturday, will begin at 9am and continue to 3pm.
Admission is free, and everyone is encouraged to stop by and see what your local and other vendors have to offer.
Prizes will be given away throughout the event as well.
