The Fourth Annual Oktoberfest, organized by the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, will be this Saturday in downtown Buffalo.

The day's festivities begin at noon and will continue through 6pm.

Over 40 beers will be in competition for the best in various categories, and many other fun activities to keep all ages entertained.

Angela Jarvis, Executive Director of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, tells us more about the day's scheduled events.

In addition to those events, there will be a Bicycle Poker Run following the Tour De Lure, a bike raffle for a New Belgium “Fat Tire” bike, art vendors and face painting for the kids.

Live Polka music will be offered by the “We're Here For The Beer” band from 2 to 4pm in Crazy Woman Square.

Advance tickets can be purchased at the chamber through Friday at 5pm for $15 each, then can be purchased at the gate for $20 each.
Admission gets adults a complimentary, collectible sampler mug to sample beers and vote for your favorite.

Sponsors for this year's Oktoberfest are the Sports Lure, Clear Creek Brewery, Buffalo Bulletin, New Belgium Brewery and Sheridan Media's Oldies 105-9.
