Visitors to Buffalo's downtown have access to information at the Chamber of Commerce, but what about visitors at the I-90/Highway 16 interchange?
Beginning Saturday, they will be able to visit the Chamber's Visitor's Center, which will officially open for the summer season.
Although the center has been there for a number of years, this will be only the second year since the fountains, bronze sculptures and signage have been in place.
Chamber Director Angela Jarvis said visitors have utilized the visitor's center in the past, but since the amenities have been added, the number of visitors has increased.
Jarvis said the center had averaged 10,000 to 14,000 visitors during a typical 4 to 5 month period. Last year, the center opened earlier than in the past and had 16,000 visitors in a five month season.
She said the visitor's center and staff were worth the investment.
The Visitor's Center is located on Highway 16 East Near Cowboy Town.
