The music of Luigi Rodolfo Boccherini will be presented by the Buffalo Chamber Ensemble at a free concert Tuesday evening at the Johnson County Library.
The Italian cellist and composer is known for many works for string quartet, quintet, guitar, and for symphonies and concertos.
The Buffalo Chamber Ensemble consists of five violins, one viola and one cello, and musicians range from the youngest at 19 to the most experienced at 70, according to Gisela Terrell with the Chamber Ensemble.
She said local schools don't offer a string program and the ensemble gives kids and other talented people in the area a chance to play.
The Buffalo Chamber Ensemble's concert will begin at 7pm tonight at the Johnson County Library, and is free to the public.
