Buffalo, the Bighorn Mountains and many of the area's other attractions are being featured in this summer's edition of RV Magazine.
Angela Jarvis, with the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, said locals Harold and Katrina Anton have spent the better part of a year with RV Magazine writer Mark Quasius, promoting Buffalo and the surrounding area and pushed the concept of the area being worthy of “more than just a one-night stay.”
Jarvis said Quasius spent more than a week here, meeting “some great people, and seeing some amazing sights.”
His feature on the area concentrates on the sights, and the available amenities for an RV enthusiast but also gives different alternative plans for a 4-wheel drive unit to explore Crazy Woman Canyon, hikes into the Cloud Peak Wilderness or to the Medicine Wheel or day trips to Fort Phil Kearney or the Little BigHorn Battlefield.
Many of Buffalo's draws, such as the Occidental, the downtown merchants and the Jim Gatchell Museum are also mentioned in the article.
The story is featured in the Summer 2012 edition of RV Magazine.
