The Buffalo City Council, at their meeting last week, awarded the bid for professional services on the Cemetery Road Pathway Project to Grizzly Engineering of Buffalo.
The Development Review Committee reviewed all the bids and made their recommendation to the council.
The contract is for professional services, engineering and planning on the gravel surface pathway to be built on the south shoulder of the roadway on Cemetery Road between the intersection at US Highway 87 and South Burritt Street, where it will tie in with the city's Safe Routes to School Sidewalk Project.
The Cemetery Road project is scheduled to begin and be completed this summer or early fall.
The pathway is being funded by a TEAL Grant through the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
