Buffalo Mayor Randy Dyess was in Cheyenne last week to give a final presentation to the State Lands and Investments Board (SLIB) for the final grant for the Crazy Woman Square Revitalization Project.
He tells us more about the grant itself.
The funds were awarded by Business Ready Community Grants through the Wyoming Business Council.
The State has contributed $750,000 in grants for the entire project, and the City of Buffalo and Johnson County have each contributed $100,000 in matching funds for a total project cost of $950,000 which is significantly lower than earlier engineer's estimates.
The project, based on bids for the various phases, is still expected to come in under budget when completed later this year.
