The Johnson County Commissioners will have their second meeting of July on Monday instead of the traditional Tuesday, and the top priority will be adopting the Appropriations Bill, or the yearly budget for fiscal year 2011-2012.
The public hearing on the budget will begin at 10 am. Also on the agenda, the Johnson County Fire Board will speak with the commission at 11 am. A request for variance on asphalt approaches will be discussed regarding Sand Creek Ranch.
Boundary adjustments on property owned by the Maverik store and Buffalo Cemetery will be addressed, and County Road and Bridge will update the commission on North/South Bypass Road, Lake Ridge Road and Canal Road.
And County Assessor Cindy Rogers will give a review and explanation of this year's valuation report. The meeting will begin at 9 am Monday in commission chambers upstairs at the Johnson County Courthouse.
