Wyoming lawmakers are at the halfway point in the 2010 Budget Session, and the Budget was officially presented in the State House Monday. Representative Rosie Berger chairs the Joint Appropriations Committee, and she spent four hours yesterday going through the Budget with her fellow representatives.
On the one hand, thirty-six amendments may seem like a lot, but compared to years past, that number is quite low.
The other two areas garnering several amendments, she says, relate to the School Facilities Commission and to distributions to local governments.
Also yesterday, the House passed through on 3rd reading 42 bills to get to the Senate.
