Sheridan College's Brown Bag Seminars resume today at the college's facilities on Main Street.
Today's seminar on anxiety is called, “Calming Your Innards.”
The seminars are held over the lunch hour, and begin at 12:10 and will be presented by Lynn Gordon from the Family and Personal Counseling Center. It's free and open to the public, with those attending invited to bring their own lunch. Organizers says there's no need to register.
The seminar is one of a series offered by Sheridan College's counseling center and Center for Workforce and Community Education. The topics for the following two brown bag Wednesday lunches will be depression and fear. Additional seminars are being planned for Wednesdays next month, starting on Feb. 12, with the focus being on the topic of relationships.
