The commissioners discussed the pros and cons of the WYOLINK Radio system and decided to take a 'wait and see' approach to see if the state will continue to expand the system or abandon it.
Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly, while there, gave an endorsement for a County Fire Warden position, saying it would make her job easier dealing with various entities if there were a fire warden in place in Johnson County.
After discussions, the commissioners voted to advertise for persons to apply for a fire warden position and bring in the appropriate people to help in the hiring process.
The accounting firm of Porter, Muirhead, Cornia & Howard of Casper was hired again to perform the county's annual audit for FY 2013-14 and a budget of $55,000 was approved for their fee.
