Bradford Brinton Memorial and Museum to Offer Free Admission Day

Smithsonian magazine will present the 5th Annual Museum Day on September 26th, and Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum in Big Horn will be offering free admission all day.

Doors will be open free of charge to Smithsonian magazine readers and Smithsonian.com visitors at museums and cultural institutions nationwide.

Last year, nearly 200,000 people attended Museum Day, with all 50 states plus Puerto Rico represented by over 900 participating museums, including 84 Smithsonian affiliate museums. This year, the magazine expects to attract over 1,000 museums.

Currently on exhibit at Bradford Brinton are Special Treasures of the Brinton, showcasing some of the outstanding works in the Brinton collection which are usually in storage. The Patio Gallery fall show, Special Friends of the BBM&M features the work of nearly 30 artists with ties to the area.

To download your Museum Day Admission Card, visit www.smithsonian.com/museumday Attendees must present the card to gain free entry to Bradford Brinton or any participating museum. Each card provides access for two people, and one card is permitted per household.
