Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum conducted its first ever annual giving campaign last year to remedy a funding shortfall that has hit the museum in recent years and according to Museum Director Ken Schuster, they far-surpassed their goal of $125,000, raising about $133,000.

Schuster shares with us what some of the money raised will be used for.

In addition to using funds to support operating expenses, they will also restore the museum's Steinway Duo-Art Piano. The piano has been sent off to be restored and should be back and operational by May.

While the museum traditionally opens on Memorial Day, as Schuster mentioned, this year they will open their doors early on May 12 thanks to the fundraising success.
